What do creative thinking and entrepreneurial action have in common? Not much at first glance. However, at second glance, it becomes clear that creative people, through their artistic way of thinking, offer an approach with which many companies can also meet the major challenges of their business field. Creatives think in an open-ended and non-linear way, leave familiar or proven paths, they can endure doubt and irritation and allow failure.
By developing a mutual understanding of the respective approach, a Creative Residency can create added value for both sides, especially in innovation processes and change management. With Creative Residency problems become possibilities and inspirations become ideas for one’s own work and life.
In addition to the integration of creative thinking in the challenges of Up2B, Dirk Dobiéy gave a lecture on November 18, 2020 on the topic “Creative Company – how to work artistically, helps organizations to grow beyond themselves”.
