But expanding internationally is important and we are helping you to take this difficult step.
The Up2B Market Discovery program was created especially for international startups that are planning to expand to the German market.
Our one week program will take place in Heidelberg and Mannheim. Located in the Rhein-Neckar region in southwest Germany, both cities are a hotspot for international corporates and offer a huge potential for startups with a B2B and industry-tech focus.
International companies like SAP, BASF, Daimler and Bosch are all located in this area. In addition to that, the region is famous for it’s highly innovative „Mittelstand“ (German for SME’s) and is considered one of the main drivers of Europe’s largest economy.

The Market Discovery program will be completed by the Startup-BW Summit on September 30th in Stuttgart. The Start-Up BW Summit is the highlight event of the start-up campaign of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. It is one of the most important platforms for startups and startup ecosystems in the South-West of Germany. Startups participating in Market Discovery will be given the chance to visit the Start-up BW Summit. At the summit, you’ll have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other startups and you’ll get to know the whole startup ecosystem of one of the economically strongest regions in Germany. Moreover, you’ll meet corporates, SMEs, VCs and business angels from Baden-Württemberg, Germany and Europe.
